QUALITY CONTROL BASICS: ISO 9001:2000: Offshore Kinematics is an ISO 9001: 2000 compliant engineering, design, fabricaiton and testing company. OKI is currently seeking new certification for the 2008 standard. BEYOND ISO 9001: EFQM: As part of the Dockwise Group, Offshore Kinematics is participating to seek certification under EFQM (European Society for Quality Management). Unlike ISO 9001 which focues on the Management of Quality, the EFQM system complements by focusing on the Quality of Managment. | HEALTH SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT: Offshore Kinematics is dedicated to the health and safety of it employees and contractors and to the environment. As part of the Dockwise Group, we are currently implementing systems based upon: OSHAS 18001 for safety management. ISO 14001 for environmental management Additionally, the Dockwise group has in place a security plan run by a security consel that performs daily monitoring of piracy, attacks and violence for our overseas activities. The plan is operational from bid to project completion. |
