OKI was contracted to engineer, design, test and supply the Leg Mating Units (LMU) and Deck Support Units (DSU). In this project, the DSU's were unusual having a large sliding surface, a gimbal and vertical elastomers combining to allow lateral sliding, rotation and compression.
