OKI has worked with Technip for several years to develop and refine methods for installation of a deck onto a floating spar platform. The work has included model testing and equipment development. This method is now to be employed on the world’s second pontoon floatover and first deepwater & spar floatover on the 3,500 t Murphy Kikeh spar deck.
