OKI was contracted from FEED through final installation as a virtual turnkey contractor for the installation of the world’s first pontoon barge floatover using an OKI pioneered method. With two decks to be installed, OKI performed all marine engineering, structural engineering, design, specifications, and procedures for the installation and related structures; OKI designed, tested and supplied deck-mating equipment; and OKI performed offshore supervision. OKI also assisted procurement and contracting that ConocoPhillips handled.
