Conceptual Studies
OKI’s extensive experience and impeccable track record with elastomer engineering allows us to provide high level consultancy services at a low cost. We have successfully been involved with conceptual designs and tests that have led to the development of successful final products. Consulting with OKI early in concept development studies for your float-over installations or other elastomer needs can result in significant savings by reducing design changes and construction change-orders.
FEED Engineering and Detailed Design
OKI has the experienced personnel and in house engineering support that will take your float-over hardware and elastomer system projects from concept, all the way through to detailed design and development to deliver a 100% factory tested and approved finished product.
Project and Fabrication Management
OKI’s project and fabrication management experience has lead to more than 160 successfully installed and operating LMUs and DSUs. OKI adheres to ISO 9001:2008 standards in all aspects from engineering to installation the of products, including the procurement of raw materials and subcontracted construction/fabrication of the finished product. We provide in house personnel and 3rd party inspectors at the construction site to ensure your product adheres to our standards and your expectations.
100% Full Scale Factory Acceptance Test (F.A.T.)
OKI has the world’s largest vertical compression test press and operates factory acceptance tests of each and every delivered component and assembly. With up to 12,840 s.tons (11,650 metric tons) of force, an opening over 7.5m tall and over 4.5m wide, we can test the largest LMU and DSU loads required by today’s mega projects. Our tests assure OKI and the end client that the products will respond predictably and properly during the most critical stages of your platform’s installation.
Onsite and Offshore Services
From project management and fabrication inspection to offshore installation assistance, OKI can provide the experienced personnel to assist with managing your installation preparations and operations. We have offshore certified personnel available to oversee LMU installation and actual deck installation and provide any on-site consultation that may be required.
Procurement
OKI’s experienced procurement department is available to assist with any project related procurement needs by developing strategic relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. This ensures open communications as well as competitive and reliable pricing, delivery, and service.
