OKI delivers a wide range of innovative and customized solutions for offshore float-over installations.

Float-Over Hardware

For a successful float-over operation, countless hours of preparation come down to the exact moment when the topside makes contact with the jacket. At the most critical point of the project, there is no room for uncertainty in the functionality of the load transferring equipment. As the world leader in LMU (Leg Mating Units) and DSU (Deck Support Units) design, testing, and application, Offshore Kinematics, Inc. is the only logical choice for your next float-over operation and installation certainty. As a member of the Dockwise Group of Companies, OKI is part of an industry leading organization focused on delivering exceptional results. We look forward to providing you with the exceptional services and unsurpassed expertise your project demands.

Riser Systems: Air Can Guides, Production Riser Centralizers, and Riser Cluster Guide Devices

OKI has developed elastomer systems to aid in the longevity of production risers. Production risers and their air can tensioning systems are subject to movement induced by motions and thermal variances, which may cause contact with the hull structure, applying stress to critical components. Air can guides assist in improving fatigue life of production riser air cans by dampening movement inside of the hull. Similarly, OKI’s Riser Centralizers keep the actual riser centralized in the hull’s casing, allowing for acceptable motions and eliminating riser-to-hull impact under both standard and extreme conditions. OKI’s riser guide device was developed to separate riser contact with the frames for clusters, eliminating hard point contacts and reducing friction on the risers for both fixed and floating platform applications. OKI’s elastomer bearings, combined with low friction surface coatings, allow for smooth riser motions and increased reliability.
