WELLSPRING CYLINDER :

Offshore Kinematics is now promoting its patented Wellspring Technology for fluid power systems. This is a low-cost, ultra-high capacity hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder. Power medium can be seawater, air, or other non-volatile fluids. Applications include:

  • Subsea Actuators: Wellhead Unlocking and Subsea Valve Actuation
  • Motion Compensation: Adjustable Stiffness while under Motion
  • Stamping & Pressing: Ultra-High Capacity Compression Loads

While less compact than conventional hydraulics, the capacity of the Wellspring Jack is much higher. A 10,000 MT cylinder feasibliy confirmed. Use for short and long stroke applications.
